Classic casters and modern casters for furniture

Classic casters were originally used to beautify and protect furniture. In addition, the classic furniture casters also have a function by making it easier to move a table or chair. Although solid brass casters are solidly made, they do not have bearings. We therefore recommend that you use them primarily for moving furniture (on a surface that will not be damaged by the casters) and not for driving while in use, as is the case with office chairs, for example.

Most casters have a round base for round table legs, but there are also casters for square legs and screw-on casters.
