Sliders

Sliders can be used for securing doors on a piece of furniture or kitchen. Many of the furniture sliders on the site are intended for mounting on the inside of a fixed door where a second door with a lock closes into the fixed door with slider. These furniture sliders usually drop directly into the wood or behind a raised corner. To stably secure a door, it is recommended to use a slider on both the top and bottom. Although these slides are not visible when closed, it is nice for the overall look to match the slide to the style and color of the other furniture hardware.
In addition, there are also slides and sliders that can be mounted on the front of a door to close a door or flap. These come into view and are often a bit heavier.
There are also slides and sliders which can be mounted on the front of a door to close a door or flap.
Heavier sliders can also be found which can be used to secure built-in closet doors, wicket doors and double front doors. These heavier door slides basically always come into view. Heavier door sliders have been used for centuries and are a simple but functional way to secure (or lock) doors.
