Dudok series

Mr. Willem Marinus Dudok (1884 - 1974) was active as an urban planner, designer and municipal architect between 1913 and around the early 1960s. Although the designs of Willem Dudok are mainly known for his straight (geometric) lines, which can also be found in the designs of the architect Andrew Lloyd Wright, other geometric forms can also be found in his work. The ellipse shape is one of the geometric shapes that can be seen in the facade of the De Nederlanden van 1845 office building in Arnhem and in the shape of the roof of the De Nederlanden van 1845 office building in Rotterdam (which houses the restaurant, Brasserie, Café Dudok, among other things).

The geometric ellipse shape is a natural and logical shape that gives a soft contour and is also functional. This shape is also found in the series of Dudok door hardware, window hardware and furniture hardware. This logical shape is timeless and has been used in hardware since the first half of the last century. Because the model is timeless, it fits both within a classic, modern classic, modern, Scandinavian and industrial interior. The Dudok door hardware at therefore also has these characteristics. On the Dudok model is available in black (as shown on the left), shiny nickel, brushed nickel, silver antique, rust color, tin color or Bronze Antique. The handle here is made of ebony which is naturally (and therefore thoroughly) black. These door handles are supplied with two round or oval rosettes and the necessary screws in a matching color.

In the same model, this window handle is made for modern turn-tilt windows. To replace standard turn-tilt systems, window hardware can be applied in the same style. This makes the interior more unified.

Window stop Dudok

For turn windows the Dudok model can be ordered as well as a window stay. The window stay also has the same elliptical handle and comes complete with two adjusting pins and the necessary screws for fastening.

Window stopper Dudok

The window locks Dudok (left or right) can be used in combination with the window stay. Both the stop for windows that open outward and the hook for windows that open inward are included.

Door handle Dudok

The door handle in the Dudok series can be used for sliding doors and vestibule doors, among other things. The handle is easy to grip due to its height and again has an elips handle.
