Hatch fastener herder Black powder coated 33mm

Hatch fastener shepherd Black powder coated 33mm. A shutter holdback or shutter catcher in the shape of a shepherd made of cast iron with a black powder coating. This holder can be used to secure a shutter preventing it from moving forward. The black finish is not always 100% opaque and is intended as a base coat.

The length of the catch is 33mm to catch the hatch and the total length including threads (approx. 50mm) is 135mm with the catch up. The length of the round part (about 10mm diameter) including the thread is about 80mm. The fastener can be fixed further or less far into the wall to adapt it to the shutter thickness. There is no spacer with this shepherd and the intention is to fix the shutter against the wall. The hatch holder should be anchored/screwed into the wall.

Due to appropriate assembly, the hatch holder may be slightly stiff up and down at first. This will become smoother with use.
