Draft barrier bronze antique with black brush 350mm. A draught excluder for the inside of a door with letterbox. This draught excluder is made of solid brass with a bronze antique seal and has two black brushes. Although most drafts can be stopped by a draft damper on the outside, it is never completely tight. And certainly by post the flap remains open. A brush closes the hole even better.

These cast brass draft brushes are heavy duty and a good alternative to a plastic or thin draft brush. This also makes the inside of the front door more adaptable in style. There is the choice of a symmetrical or an asymmetrical brush. For mounting on a door thickness of less than 50mm, we recommend an asymmetric brush in combination with a sprung letterbox. This is because otherwise the flap may get stuck behind the brush. This draught excluder is suitable in terms of width   for all letterbox plates on the site!

With a thin front door, it may be necessary to position the brush lower than the center to prevent the draught flap from getting caught behind the brush. With a thin door thinner than 40mm or a thin panel in a front door, due to the small thickness, a combination with a spring-loaded mailbox and an asymmetrical draft brush may also not work without thickening the front door. We recommend testing this before installation.
