The rural door handle and rosettes are made of cast iron and have a rust colored finish with a wax coating. Instead of a lacquer finish, this handle has a wax finish. A lacquer finish is harder, but wax is easier to repair. Because of the shape and color finish, the handles fit well in a country interior.
