Door handle 1930s barrel model brushed nickel with ebony pinnacle

Door handle 1930s barrel model brushed nickel with ebony spring. A pair of spring loaded door handles made of solid brass with a brushed nickel finish. The spacer is made of black ebony with a thickest diameter of 20 millimeters. The door handle is approximately 110 millimeters long and protrudes 71 millimeters. The handle is spring-mounted on round handle rosettes. Because the handle is spring-mounted, it comes up easier if the lock in the door malfunctions. The handle rosettes have a diameter of about 50mm and are 9mm thick.

The popular barrel model from the 1930s with a relatively modern finish. Although earlier in the 1930s many barrel-model door handles were finished in shiny nickel, brushed nickel gives a somewhat more subtle and modern look.

This spring-loaded 1930s model comes complete with the necessary bronze antique screws for mounting. The screw holes are also suitable for use with patent bolts. These are not included but can be found under the door hardware mounting category. Because the handle is spring loaded, it will not droop on older locks. This in many cases prevents the need to replace the old lock.
